Head Stuck In A Jug Image

For some reason, your head is permanently stuck in a jug.  Whatever someone did to you, no one has been able to undo it, not even with magic.  You have enough air space to fit a straw or little bits of things on a skewer into your mouth, but that's about it.  You've engineered a weird little periscope and some listening tubes that let you see and hear the world outside your jug.  It's not a great life, but it's your life and you're darn well going to enjoy it.

Skill Proficiencies: Survival, Insight
Tool Proficiencies: Tinker's tools
Equipment: A specialized apparatus for seeing/hearing outside the jug, a set of tinker's tools, and a money pouch containing 15 gp

Feature: Lifestyle Invention

During the course of working on new ways to interact with the world, you invented something that is globally useful for people with a particular type of permanent condition.  Your invention is famous among the community of interest and sees regular use.  Granted, the manufacturing industry and the artisans don't kick the profits your way very often, but whenever you find yourself in a town where a user lives, they treat you as an ally and will help you and the party when they can.

Suggested Characteristics

Those whose heads are stuck in jugs are a variable lot, but they generally tend to be hopeful and sarcastic if not fatalistic.  They dedicate their lives to making the most of it - it beats the alternative.

Personality Traits

d8 Personality Trait
1  I like to change up my style every few days; a new knitted cover, a random antenna sticking out, a stuffed penguin on top.  You only live once.
2  It's important to help the people around me, especially the less fortunate.
3 I'll always fight to protect other people from villains.  I'll probably get taken out one day, but at least I won't lose face when I die.

5  I like to act crazy in public about once a month to keep people guessing.
