Royal Knight (all now works on character builder)

You belong to an order of knights sworn to the direct service of guarding the royal family,  in your eyes it is without question a vital and honorable endeavor.

The order itself is comprised of members of high ranking noble families unlike other knightly titles which make up the lower noble ranks. As such you hold authority not only in martial society but also within the courts in situations deigned appropriate for you to speak for yourself (such as certain smaller meetings or many social events).

You may be individually assigned to royalty or be part of the King's/Queen's guard depending on your age, demeanor and individual skills.

As an emblem of chivalry and the ideals of courtly love, you might include among your equipment a banner or other token from a noble lord or lady to whom you have given your heart — in a chaste sort of devotion.

                     What’s your position in the family? Are you the heir to the head of the family? Have you already inherited the title? How do you feel about that responsibility? Or are you so far down the line of inheritance that no one cares what you do, as long as you don’t embarrass the family? How does the head of your family feel about your adventuring career? Are you in your family’s good graces, or shunned by the rest of your family?

Does your family have a coat of arms? An insignia you might wear on a signet ring? Particular colors you wear all the time? An animal you regard as a symbol of your line or even a spiritual member of the family?

                  What sort of person is your charge? Are they charismatic or shy? strong or sickly? what is their relationship with the rest of their family? are they just or corrupt? adventurous or a shut in? do they send you out to complete tasks or keep you by their side? do they interfere with your own affairs? Do you get on with them?

These details help establish your family, your title and a country's ruling family as features of the world of the campaign. It is recommended to discuss/confirm these with your dm.

Skill Proficiencies: Choose two from; athletics, medicine, survival, history, insight, intimidation, perception and persuasion.

Tool Proficiencies: Choose one musical instrument and one gaming set as well as one from; woodcarver's tools, weaver's tools, tinker's tools, painter's supplies, cook's utensils, cartographer's tools, calligrapher's supplies or herbalism kit.

Languages: Pick one standard language.

Equipment: A set of fine clothes, a signet ring, a scroll of pedigree, a purse containing 25 gp, a Shield and one Martial weapon. Choose one musical instrument and gaming set.
