you are a member of the illustrious, yet hidden, reaper’s guild, a league of beings that exist outside of the known planes and realities within the inky void. The reaper’s guild exists in order to monitor and protect the planes and reality, intervening only when disaster is to come to reality, or when something, someone, or somewhere shouldn’t exist.

you have access to a reaper’s tool, a spectral tool that reflects the inner workings of your mind, personality, and soul. What kind of tool you have varies on what domain you are a part of: a scythe for the reaper’s of the body, a large needle and spool of thread for reaper’s of the land, and an oversized pair of scissors for the reaper’s of time. The tools can be used to sever or create chords of reality in specific objects, people, places, etc. work with your dm to figure out the effect that destroying or creating new chords will bring when you use your tool.
Suggested Characteristics
Reaper’s are often characterized by their knowledge of all around them, though often they act as normal as you or I, they often have a sense of aloofness and efficiency that can be seen as scary to downright malevolent when seen through the eyes of one who does not know of the reaper’s necessary role in reality, to keep everything in check and to keep things that shouldn’t exist from existing, and to save realities that would otherwise be completely doomed.
