Halcite Priest

You have spent your life in the service of the Order of Halcyon. You act as an intermediary between the realm of the divine and the mortal world, performing sacred rites and offering sacrifices in order to conduct worshipers into the presence of the divine. You are not necessarily a cleric—performing sacred rites is not the same thing as channelling divine power.

The god that oversees the Order of Halcyon is enigmatic. But it is known that they relentlessly protect our reality from threats that try to invade the realm. These invasions cause instability in the fabric of our reality, creating anomalous effects or entities of varying degrees of safe to world shatteringly dangerous. Maintaining balance of our reality by neutralizing these threats of Ureality, no matter the cost is the foundation of The Order. This god is neither kind nor malicious, only focused on preserving normality in this realm.

Their study of the history and tenets of their faith and their relationships to temples, shrines, or hierarchies affect their mannerisms and ideals. Their flaws might be some hidden hypocrisy or heretical idea, or an ideal or bond taken to an extreme.
