Most folks do not know how involved you are in the criminal world, but you have to be as you have to know who you can and who you can't take at the table. You also have to know whose palm to grease to play your games, you know that a thieves guild is better to have as a friend then not. You also learned how to open a locked room, when you started gambling you never realized what you needed to know and what all was involved. Now you're in and loving it, one day you think you want to run an establishment the next you're leaving town in a hurry as you took the wrong guy for everything.

Your a gambler, but you watch and listen and over time you have made connections. You’re far closer than most people to the world of murder, theft, and violence that pervades the underbelly of civilization, and you have survived up to this point by flouting the rules and regulations of society. Due to this you have a reliable and trustworthy contact who acts as your liaison to a network of other criminals. You know how to get messages to and from your contact, even over great distances; specifically, you know the local messengers, corrupt caravan masters, and seedy sailors who can deliver messages for you.
