The Platinum Cadre Image

At the core of every faction are those who serve as its hands, head, and heart and also who don’t fulfill a small function for that organization. In Faerun like a prelude to the adventuring career (and in preparation for it) of your’s, there you served as an agent for the particular faction. Depending on the faction and its goals, as well as how those goals mesh with your own, you might have to operate secretly or openly. Becoming an adventurer doesn’t necessarily need you to relinquish membership in your faction (though you can choose to do so) and also it might increase your status in the faction.

The Platinum Cadre is an order of Dragonborn knights, paladins, and priests from Tymanther sworn to the service of Bahamut. Because they worshiped a dragon god, they were outcasts in Thymari society, and it wasn't uncommon that its members were expelled from their clans because of their beliefs.

The Platinum Cadre professed that dragonborn weren't the creations of the dragons of Abeir, but instead were the ancient children of the dragon god Bahamut. As such, members of this group believed that not all dragons were evil, and actively worked to change the prejudices of the Thymari dragonborn while seeking out for good dragons, in hopes of bridging the divide between them and the dragonborn. 

Even when most of the Thymari dragonborn ridiculed the Platinum Cadre for their beliefs, in fact, their members were close to the truth. Equipment: A holy symbol (a gift to you when you entered the priesthood), a prayer book or prayer wheel, 5 sticks of incense, vestments, a set of common clothes and badge or emblem of your faction, a pouch containing 15 gp, and a copy of a seminal faction text (or a code-book for a covert faction).
 
Feature: Safe Haven

As a faction agent, you have access to a secret network of supporters and operatives who can provide assistance on your adventures. You know a set of secret signs and passwords you can use to identify such operatives, who can provide you with access to a hidden safe house, free room, and board, or assistance in finding information. These agents never risk their lives for you or risk revealing their true identities.

Acolytes are shaped by their experience in temples or other religious communities. Their study of the history and tenets of their faith and their relationships to temples, shrines, or hierarchies affect their mannerisms and ideals. Their flaws might be some hidden hypocrisy or heretical idea, or an ideal or bond taken to an extreme.
