Reluctant Undead

Many years ago, more than you'd care to admit, you were very sick, or hurt before your time, or a loved one couldn't do without you, and you passed beyond the veil. Someone, whether it be a loved one driven mad with loss, or a dabbling necromancer, brought you back from the dead. Unfortunately, your memories of Beyond are lost, attempting to bring them into the light results only in a warmth that suffuses your entire body. Your skin retains the color it took on after death, and the process which returned you to the living world has halted the aging, and death of your cells.

Skill Proficiencies: You are proficient in either History and Religion checks regarding death, dying, and rites of burial. You don’t remember your time beyond the veil, but you feel a small glimmer of warmth in graveyards and mausoleums, as if something was calling you home.
Languages: Thanks to your journey beyond the veil, you speak either Celestial, Infernal, or Abyssal. The journey to the afterlife is both long, and instant, and the journey introduces you to all sorts of entities.

Feature: Blessing of Undeath

Undead creatures regard you amongst their ranks, and must make a wisdom saving check (dc 13) to attack you unless you have already attacked

You are a long way from where you should be, you’re not sure where it is, but it feels wrong to be the way you are
