Former Warforged Servant Image

You were commissioned as a servant for an evil individual, built for his purposes, and your life began in his service.  You struggled fiercely to survive the abuse of your Master, being forced to witness and take part in his atrocities and vile experiments. During your servitude you were exposed to the worst of humanity, you witnessed little kindness and received even less; however you also learned the value of silent perception as you watched your Master and learned his skills through observation.  After escaping you kept a constant watch out for others who might try to steal from or take advantage of you, or who might try to enslave you. Since then you slept on rooftops and in alleyways, exposed to the elements, and with little driving you beyond survival. You’ve survived despite all odds, and did so through cunning, strength, speed, perceptiveness, trickery or some combination of each.

You begin your adventuring career with enough money to live modestly but securely for at least ten days. How did you come by that money? What allowed you to break free of your hellish upbringing and embark on a better life?

Suggested Characteristics

Warforged servants were purpose built for their Masters and were thus shaped by their life in servitude, for good and for I’ll; having learned through observation the skills of their master. They tend to be driven by a burning desire to survive, find a better life, and never been held in servitude again — and maybe get some payback on all the evil people who have treated them badly.
