Outback Adventurer Image

You have spent your entire life surviving in the Outback. You act as the front line between the village you call home and the untamed and savage wilds that lay out past the boarders. You hunt down swarms of large spiders, mammoth sharks, black dragons, and all the other dangerous creatures that inhabit the island. You are not necissarily a guard, nor are you pest control, you are a very dangerous mix of the two.

Do you adventure out deep into the outback to destroy maleficent beings or do you stay within the reaches of your home? Is your specialty dealing with creatures of the land, of the sea, or in the air? These are all questions that Outback adventurers must ask themselves.

Skill Proficiencies: The rough and tumble world that Outback adventurers come from force the majority them to be among the strongest and most gruff individuals. They are strong, fast, and smart. Because of the nature of their occupation, these protectors of civilization are adept at surviving in the wild for weeks on end, understanding the difference between what is and what is not a danger, and how to move quickly through dangerous environments.

A good night's rest: You have the ability to fall alseep in any situation just shy of an active war zone; however, you are unable to sleep comfortably in a bed.

Expert survivalist: with your limited knowledge of actual medicine, you are able to patch up any non-magical wound that caused less than 5 hp of damage with sticks, twine, and leaves.

Tool Proficiencies: Your life, even though it seems chaotic, has at least a semblance of routine. Because of this, you know what you can and cannot eat, which wood to burn without creating too much smoke or dangerous fumes, and how to build a single person shelter in record time using only your wit and your trusty knife.

Outback contruction: using materials arround your camp, you are able to build a camoflauged single person shelter in under 20 minutes.

Outback knowhow: you have general knowledge of which non-magical creatures, plants, and areas are safe and which are not, to an extent.

Languages: Because your job does not often require communication, your occupation does not grant a language skill.

Career Jargon: you understand and can speak in complicated outback adventurer jargon with other Outbackers about terrain, creatures, or other environmental hazards that are in a certain area without anyone else knowing.

Equipment: When you become an Outback adventurer, your pack comes with the traditional explorer's gear, with a few extra goodies.
