Pit Fighter

A pit fighter is the less showy, more illegal version of a gladiator.  More akin to to tavern basements or repurposed warehouses, the pit fighter is less about creating an entertaining show for the audience and more about winning by whatever means necessary.  The pit fighter uses intimidation and strength to overwhelm their opponent both mentally and physically.  

Skill Proficiencies: Acrobatics or Athletics, Intimidation

Equipment: A set of armor and weapons and a pouch of 15 gold

Suggested Characteristics

Successful pit fighters have to be through countless fights, so they tend to view violence in a business-like, almost removed way. They’re inclined toward the quiet side, as fighting is viewed more like a job rather than something to boast about. They typically carry a slew of scars, happy to let them do their talking for them, though they know that the right placed words can strike to the heart of their opponents and sway the fight in their favor, sometimes ending it before it has even begun.
