You lived in extreme poverty before you were either taken in by a person of great wealth and power, or quickly rose to a very important religious or political position by a stroke of luck. Whatever changed your life, you are now in possession of a great fortune or a great amount of power, and you are still getting used to it.
- Skill Proficiencies: No matter how far you move from your past, some things never change. Being poor, you did what you had to survive, whether that be pickpocketing, tricking the people foolish enough to play your fixed games of chance, or just flat out stealing, you will never forget your old ways.
- Tool Proficiencies: You gain proficiency in Thieves tools.
- Languages: Being raised by the streets, you did what was necessary to survive and learned the language of the most spoken language other than common in your hometown.
- Equipment: You have your first set of lockpicking tools, a gift your best friend gave you before you left, and a small chipped knife
As a Parvenu, you know what its like to live a life of poverty, giving you an easier time connecting with those that still do. They will shield you from the law, and whatever information they know they will give without hesitation, as long as they see you as one of them.

You will never forget the things you had to do growing up, and you will most likely never unlearn certain things. You may be a savage eater, taking any chance to eat immediately, or you might steal anything that looks like it has value, even if you have no need for money.
