The trail of your prey cannot elude you. Your experience pursuing your quarry allows you to find its trail. Once during a trip West, you may choose a creature that you have heard of. You know either how to find it, or where to find that information. This may be specific, such as the warthog that stole your rations, or general, such as anything that would make a fine steak.
