Lanoto Exile

For one reason or another you have been exiled from the Lanoto Desert. Perhaps you took part in a heinous crime, brought shame and dishonor to your family, or maybe you chose to leave and forsake everything you knew out of cowardice. You may have to take on a new identity to avoid the old world from finding you, or to keep attention away from you. Maybe there is no home left to welcome you back with loving arms.

For whatever reason you find yourself alone in foreign lands with nothing but what you could carry. You've begun to know these new lands, its language, its people, and how to keep yourself safe. You've become exceptionally talented at blending in with their crowds, getting in and out when needed, and surviving long nights away from society.

But you can't quite shake the memories of home. You carry a memento of that old life, and no matter how many times you've thought of pawning it for another days meal, you can't quite let it go. These nights you might prefer the isolation of the wilderness where you can imagine your looking at the same stars as the souls of your past.
