Combat Medic [Soldier] Image

War was only the constant in life. You trained as a youth studying how to use weapons and armor. Learning basic survival techniques. Learning the medical field. You learn how to survive on the battlefield and take care of the wounded.

When you choose this background, work with your DM to determine which military organization you were a part of, how far through its ranks you progressed, and what kind of experiences you had during your military career. Was it a standing army, a town guard, or a village militia? Or it might have been a noble’s or merchant’s private army, or a mercenary company.

1 This is the level of an untrained medic. [You know a little bit but not the full package.]
2 These are medics at the entry level. [Low-ranking]
3 This is a Advanced Medic [Medium Ranking.]
4 This is a Advance medic that went to Medical and Officer Academies. [high-ranking.]

Feature: Military Rank

You have a military rank from your career as a soldier. Soldiers loyal to your former military organization still recognize your authority and influence, and they defer to you if they are of a lower rank. Some respect you because you may have saved their lives in the past or simply respect what you do.

You can invoke your rank to exert influence over other soldiers and requisition simple equipment or horses for temporary use. You can also usually gain access to friendly military encampments and fortresses where your rank is recognized.
