You used to be a god, granted with infinite power, wealth, and knowledge, but after millennium, it all began to grow dull. To add some excitement back into your life, you transferred your conscious into a the body of a dead mortal, now you will adventure till you die.
- Skill Proficiencies: History, Persuasion, Religion
- Tool Proficiencies: Two types of artisan’s tools
- Languages: You know celestial, primordial, and infernal in addition to the languages known by your host body's race.
- Equipment: A set of ancient weapons (one of your choice), a dagger, an iron pot, a chalice, and a pouch containing 13 electrum pieces.
You previously lived unharmed, loved by all, a literal god, but then you were killed by one of your siblings and felt fear and hate for the first time, only to awake within the hour. Suggested Characteristics
You give off a happy-go-lucky vibe, despite the fact that any wounds you obtain never heal and never bleed (as the body you are inhabiting lost most of it's blood). Whenever you see or hear someone praying to a deity, you tell them a list of the deities who are listening and a list of the ones don't give a damn.
Variant: A god of lies is a very common title by god standards. They come in once in a while, kill some deity that will come back to life within the hour, and then either flee, or be executed. You wanted some more spice in your life, so you decided to kill some things that won't come back for a change. You give off a suspicious vibe to common folk.

You know precisely which deities to pray to for what.
You are a god who one day got bored of just watching people die and decided to instead, kill them yourself. On your journey to discretely murder as many mortals as possible, you disguise in the body of one of your victims. You join an adventuring party and make many good friends, the only downside being, that you have to save people. On your upcoming adventures you plan to make a game of it. How many corpses can you leave behind without your newfound friends noticing?
You can call upon your godly powers to persuade people that you are right (+3 deception)

This is my first background and my 3rd homebrew creation overall, so I would love some feedback!
this is really well thought through and well done. props
I was thinking of making an Aasimar paladin yet couldn't figure out the background. So thank you this helps a lot.
