Unsai Of The Longstrider Tribes Image

You are a member of one of the many Unsai Longstriders tribes that roam the sands of the Dhahabi desert keeping to the old ways of your people before their great exodus from Zun-salii across the sea of stars. Though much of the culture and strange magical technologies of your ancestors home has been forgotten the Longstriders still remain resolute in the preservation of tradition and as a result are typically fiercely opposed to other cultures. Yours has been a life of harsh trial under the scorching sun of the desert but it has taught you much in the ways of survival and animal handling particularly with the crimson camels your tribes are famed for.

1 The River Drinkers, this tribe's territory is closest to the lands of the river pharaoh and as a result are the ones that have clashed with his people the most, they also famed among the tribes for having the richest camel milk.
2 The Blue Watchers, this tribe rides the north coast of the desert keeping a careful eye on the waters for any sea-fairing invaders and as a result have a better relationship with the Crownbearers than other tribes
3 The Dune Dancers, this tribe roams the deepest parts of the desert who are famed for their hit and run tactics and their many ritualistic dances that they perform to please the gods.
4 The High Hands, this tribes main territory is found on the south coast but they travel far and wide as they are the tribe most likely to trade with outsiders and as a result have the best relationship with the crownbearers as they ferry trade between them and other cultures.
5 The Fang Breakers, this tribe lays claim to the region closest to the realms of the tabaxi and as a result regularly come into conflict with the cat-folk and regularly adorn their weapons and armour with fangs and bones.
6 The Backstriders, this tribe is made up of outcasts and criminals of the Unsai who practice profaned arcana and rituals outlawed by their culture. They hold no territory instead hiding in shadow and striding backwards against the path of the gods.
 
Feature: Desert Raider

The reputation of your tribes proceed you in the Dhahabi  and the lands adjacent to it. In the towns and cities of the river Pharaoh the common folk will treat you with respect mostly out of fear as the Longstrider tribes have raided them throughout history and as a result you have advantage on intimidation checks made against the civilians in the area. In the cites of the Unsai Crownbearers while there is some dived between the two sides of your culture they are still your countrymen and will offer free lodgings for you and your companions and finally your life traversing the desert gives you advantage on survival checks to avoid becoming lost there.

 
Suggested Characteristics

Some Unsai love the seclusion of the sands entering civilisation only when absolutely necessary while others take great joy in boasting of their exploits in the various towns and cites of the Dhahabi. While every Longstride tribe member is a warrior to some extent there are also many other roles that must be filled within a tribe consider which of these if any you were. Perhaps you were a camel breeder, a hunter, keep of the tribes oral tradition or a role unique to your tribe specifically.
