You were probably a hunter or an adventurer, who by some concidence or due to your job, found out the existance of fables, upon seeing the profit that they can bring you, you decided to turn to the more... exotic aspect of hunting, looking for these beings of wonder.
You could be a dreamer looking for there fascinting creatures originated from your imagination.
You could be a person who wishes to study these creatures for his own benefits, as they are said to be immortal.
Or you could be a bountyhunter, looking to make the most profit out of these rare creatures, as nobles and exotic collectors are willing to pay small fortunes to have them in their posession.

Your job is to find, catch, and sell unique creatures that are known for being fey tricksters and extremelly elusive, the job pays extremelly well, but it is also extremelly difficult. You are keen in detecting a fable's disquise and are trained to recognise fey magic.

Due to the secrecy that your job requires, you usually have acess to black marckets and secret bidding stands, usually focused on exotic creatures (or even races) this also comes with a downside, as the traffic of these is illegal on most places.

Suggested Characteristics
The illusory ancient beings that are fables usually know what to do when a hunter comes for them, but some of them are unaware of their own nature, as fables do not have a society that teaches them what they are and they are born out of nothing. You are trained to take advantage of that weakness, as well as their lack of knowledge of collectors if they are young enough.
