Apothecary Image

Herbs, mushrooms, bio luminescent ooze, parts harvest from various creatures. Everything has hidden qualities. An apothecary sees this potential where others just see noise in the background. Potions that heal, salves that strengthen the skin, elixirs that amplify one's intelligence. The only limitation is the materials on hand.

4 I talk quickly about my profession, often using words or concepts others aren't familiar with.
5 Seeing the sick fills me with sadness and compassion.
6 I am a germaphobe, and would much prefer if you don't touch me.
7 I'm a bit pretentious, and I believe my intelligence makes me superior to others.

d6 Ideal
1 Health and prosperity. I plan on creating new, easier to manufacture potions for the betterment of the world. (Good)
2 Fear and notoriety. I will create a poison so powerful, kings and queens will know it by name, and fear it for centuries. (Evil)
3 Knowledge. What I do, I do to learn. Not for anyone but my own's benefit. (Neutral)
4 Trickery. So many potions and poisons that are so blatantly good and evil. There's a whole world of mischievous elixirs to be made, and I will be the master behind them. (Chaotic)
5 Companionship. I venture out to collect information about various potions, and bring what I learn back to my peers. (Lawful)
6 Sharing is Caring. So many apothecaries would keep their knowledge to themselves. I seek to find their notes, and release them to the world. (Chaotic)
d6 Bond
1 My master taught me everything I know. If not for them, I would not be who I am today.
2 My most prized possession is the alchemy kit hand down to me. Without it, I am nothing.
3 Those in my field bring out the best/worst in me, and I plan on showing them what I am capable of.
4 Someone stole my alchemical notebook. I will get it back, or die trying.
5 One of my more mischievous creation angered the wrong noble. Now I am in exile.
6 The potions/poisons I create are mine and mine alone to keep secret. Should anyone learn my recipes, they would not see tomorrow.
d6 Flaw
1 I am not an adventurer at heart, and would much rather run from confrontation.
2 I have been known to lose friends due to my hyper-fixation on my work.
3 In my excitement when finding new materials, I will put myself in danger to acquire them.
4 I will drink anything I create, even if it's poisonous, before admitting I made a mistake.
5 Sometimes I think of how easy it would be to change healing potions, just slightly, turn them into delayed deadly poisons, and send them into the public market.
6 I would easily imbibe in some of the most harmful toxins if I thought it would help me understand it better.
