Adventurer's Child Image

You are the child of Adventurers and your own adventure is about to begin. The people in your hometown know you and your family well, but you are looking for more. While you are just starting as an Adventurer, your parents are experienced and have taught you some tricks of their own. You might have had some weapon training, or even went on an adventure or two with them already.

When you choose this background, work with your DM to determine the accomplishments of your parents, and which kinds of adventures they might have taken you on already.

Skill Proficiencies: Choose two from: Arcana, Insight, Investigation, StealthSurvival
Tool Proficiencies: One type of artisan’s tools
Languages: One Language of your choice
Equipment: A set of artisan’s tools (one of your choice), a knickknack from home, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 10 gp

Feature: Helping Hand

Being the child of well-known Adventurers makes it easy for you to find a way into Adventurer’s and Mercenary Guilds. They will grant you a place to sleep and are more inclined to help you in your endeavors, provided you didn’t show yourself to be a danger to them.
