You grew up in the Trajan Republic, and have performed the service required to become a citizen. Service requires both military and civil service, but grants several benefits, in addition to becoming a citizen of the Republic.
- Skill Proficiencies: History, Perception, and one of your choice.
- Tool Proficiencies: One of your choice.
- Languages: Wolfen and Common.
- Equipment: Two simple weapons, a set of light armor, a shield, an explorer’s pack, a set of traveling clothes, and a belt pouch containing 50gp worth of coins from the Republic.
Citizen. You are a citizen of the Republic. You can vote, own land, enter into legal contracts, and stand for civil or public office. You have the right to appear before local magistrates or the Senate itself. You are guaranteed employment in the Republic, but not the specific job.
Gift of Service. You have been granted a boon for your service. Choose one of the following:
Property. You own a small house in one of the cities of the empire, or a small farm in the country. Upkeep and taxes on the property are automatically provided in thanks for your service.
Title. You were a Centurion (military) or Tribune (civil) during your service, and retain the rank and pension. You receive 100gp per month, deposited into the Republic’s national bank. You have 4d10 * 100gp in saved funds.
Item. You had a magic item granted to you during your service which you were allowed to keep. Choose one item up to Rare, subject to DM approval.
