You are a member of tribe of no more than a few hundred people. Perhaps your tribe comes from an ancient time following the traditions and ideals passed down from thousands of years or a more recently created tribe of wanderers and outcasts just trying to survive the wilderness through cooperation rather than laws. Your tribe may be small and outside the confines of modern society, but thrives on the strength of interdependence rather than individualism. Everyone has their part to play in the tribes survival and you are no different. Whether you are a simple farmer, growing fruits, vegetables and grains, or you hold some form of nobility or higher status within your community, you hold some responsibility and adhere to the needs of the tribe as opposed to your own.
- Skill Proficiencies: Nature, Survival
- Languages: One of your choice.
- Equipment: A set of traveler's clothes, a hooded lantern, a torch and a pouch containing 5 gp.
Every member has their job and responsibility to the tribe. A farmer's harvest, a hunter's trophy, or a shaman's herbs all serve a purpose to the survival of the people and the tribe as a whole. Choose your status or roll on the table below.

9 | Scout |
10 | Miner |
Among your tribe and other allied tribes you are easily recognized and welcomed. However, within modern cities and towns you are seen as an attraction rather than a regular member of society. You often catch glances and even stares from the locals, are usually taunted and mocked under hushed whispers and sometimes refused service because of your "savage" and "filthy" appearance. You often find it difficult to fit in among these people.
Suggested Characteristics
As a tribal born, your actions and behavior display respect and consideration for the group as a whole instead of the individuals. You have your own goals and aspirations, but often push them aside to aid the survival of the group. You are exceptionally social as you see communication as a necessity for survival.

Your many years spent in the wilderness have made you accustomed to the lay of the land making you a guide to the natural world. You are able to easily find your way through a terrain you have walked along at some point in your travels. You can also discover resources such as flora for medicine or sustenance and fauna for hides and meat that you are familiar with in the terrain.

How do I choose between the main feature and the variant one?
The feature cannot be changed in the character sheet if that's what you're asking. It's a choice that can slightly change how your character interacts with the people and the environment within your campaign. So it's more a personal choice YOU make for your character similar to the criminal/spy background. I would suggest that you let your DM/GM know that you would like your character to use the variant feature and that should be all. You could also export the character sheet and just copy paste the variant feature into the sheet that way.
Hope this helps.
Gotcha! Thanks friend!
i think it's missing a tool or language? Is that something that can be fixed?
