Wether by tragic accident or deadly blows dealt by a fearsome enemy, you have died. But you never felt the cold embrace of death. Either by the work of a fateful accident or the work of a master artificer, you have been revitalized, although now parts of you have been replaced by mechanical counterparts. (You decide what parts of you have been replaced, although it is essential that the brain remains relatively intact)

Suggested Characteristics

Because the Reforged are extremely rare, the few that exist live lives of secrecy, hiding their mechanical parts from the eyes of the general public. Some live lives of isolation, too terrified by their brush with death to take advantage of the second chance they have been given, while some live lives of adventure, making the most of the new life they were awarded.
