After the formation of the Church of Order and the consolidation of the Empire, the ecclesiastical dogma was created. The cult of Chaos and any chaotic god was forbidden. Heretics and books alike were punished and burned. During these troubled times the inquisitors were created, they were sworn judges and executioners with the authority of the Church of Order and the Empire. That's what you are, your job is to make sure dogma is upheld and if not to punish heretics with the wrath of god.
