
Unknowingly to you, an Ancient Deity has attached itself to you. Either through the deity's own actions or through a Dark Ritual carried out on you through the deity's cult. For one reason or another the Dark Ritual did not succeed. Now you can hear the whispers of this Ancient Deity's voice in your mind, slowly directing your choices and actions.

- Languages: You learn Abyssal, Deep Speech, or Infernal.
- Equipment: A set of simple clothes, a darkened robe, and an item of significance to the Deity housing itself in you that appeared in your personal effects.

Due to the Deity using your body as a vessel, the Deity's voice will warn you of incoming danger or threats before you can sense anything is wrong.
You cannot be surprised.
You are a light sleeper, waking at the smallest of noises.
