You have spent time working for an organization that offers insurance policies to protect regular folk from the myriad disasters that seem to follow adventuring parties. You worked as a claims investigator, and were routinely dispatched to the scene of insurance claims to determine the cause, assess the cost of the damage, and determine whether the disaster meets the criteria set forth in the often convoluted policies. You possess a keen eye for detail and an understanding of the costs associated with repairing a variety of objects.

Your experience working a variety of disaster scenes and reviewing claims reports has left you with a broad working knowledge of the value of a variety of objects and the cost to repair them.  You can assess the value of a non magical object and the cost to repair any damage by inspecting the object closely for one round and rolling Int + your proficiency bonus.
