Monsters are like nasty pests, and some people make it their life's work to eradicate these creatures. Whether contracted and hired to dispose of local gnolls or goblin terrorizing a small village to hunting dragons for the spoils and parts Monster Hunters can be found in any major town or small hamlet.
You're job is to kill monsters, whether for money or fame, the likes of which vary and change wherever you go.
- Skill Proficiencies: You gain proficiency with the Nature and Survival skills.
- Languages: You gain proficiency with one language of your choice.
Feature: Always Prepared
As you spend more time hunting creatures you gain more knowledge that could help you track them down.
Whenever you try to ascertain knowledge about certain creatures your DM may allow you a skill roll appropriate to the creature type (Religion for undead, Nature for beasts or plants etc.), the DC of which determined secretly by the DM in accordance to the creature's CR or obscurity. On a successful roll you gain helpful information such as its nesting habits, typical hunting grounds and the likes depending on the creature. If the creature is fairly known and common the DM may forgo the roll and give you the relevant information.
