- Equipment: A piece of starting equipment from your class (one of your choice), a letter from your master acknowledging your skill or potential, a set of common clothes, and a belt pouch containing 10gp.
Your master is no longer a part of your journey. Why is that? You can work with your DM to determine the exact nature of their absence, or you can choose to roll on the table below to determine the nature of your master's absence.

Your master not only taught you the skills of your class, but shared their wisdom about the world. If you pass a skill check you have proficiency in, you often recall your master's wisdom on the subject, too. This may include a recommended course of action.
Suggested Characteristics
Apprentices are heavily shaped by their master, for better or for worse. Masters may help an apprentice become the person they were meant to be or even stunt them in all aspects of life except their training.
