Reborn from the ashes of the old, a raging fire brings life to the magestic Phoenix! Over time, these creatures, hunted and captured, began to hide amongst the masses. Through the use of magic, and many years of "familial bonding", you have come into being.
Being a direct descendant of a Phoenix, you are very similar to a sorcerer. You have an innate flame that burns within you, and you have spent your youth learning to tap into this fiery source of magic!
- Skill Proficiencies: Choose two from among Arcana, Investigation, Acrobatics, or Survival
- Languages: You start with Celestial, and can choose one other language from Abyssal, Draconic, Primordial, Sylvan, or Undercommon
- Equipment: A explorer's pack (containing a chest, a crowbar, a hammer, three wooden stakes, a holy symbol, a flask of holy water, a set of manacles, a steel mirror, a flask of oil, a tinderbox, and 3 torches), a set of common clothes, and 5 gp.

You gain the Phoenix sorcerer subclass ability Mantle of Flame, along with it's enhancements as you level, as well as resistance to fire damage. In exchange for Innermost Blaze, you can expel that heat in such a manner to lift yourself into the air. You can the ability to fly at a speed of 30 feet. This increases by 10 feet every time you can an ASI or feat. You can use this ability for up to 1 hour per short rest.
