Grevriss is the elder dragon who created xanathar. The first race, the dragonborn, revere him as their creator, and so a secret order emerged to make sure that all dragonborn abide by his principles. As a monk of the order, you will have one of 3 roles: a scribe, who write down the cryptic language that Grevriss speaks so to remember his teachings, an enforcer, who ensure that all dragonborn follow Grevriss' teachings, or a warlock, a member of the naturally gifted warlock conclave, who are the leaders of the order.
- Skill Proficiencies: a monk of the order will have proficiency in history and arcana.
- Languages: The language of Grevriss is needed to enter a temple of the order. It is known as Grevrissian. All members of the order know this language.
- Equipment: Each member of the order is given a small compass afte initiation that will always point to mount Visilath, the headquarters of the order. This can be used as an alternative for entering a temple.
All members of the order can cast mage hand, feather fall or magic missiles regardless of their class. If they are already a spellcaster, they can upgrade one cantrip they know to the next level.
Suggested Characteristics
Should be a dragonborn, however a non-dragonborn may accompany a dragonborn into a temple. Should be proficient in Intelligence and Wisdom, but weak in charisma.
