You were just playing a normal game of DnD with your friends, when you suddenly you blacked out and woke up within the fantasy world you were playing in.
- Skill Proficiencies: Insight, History
- Tool Proficiencies: Dice set
- Languages: Common
- Equipment: A bottle of black ink, a quill, a dice set, a character sheet of yourself, a set of sweat pants and a star wars shirt, and a wallet containing 5 dollars and 35 pennies, a copy of the monster manual, a copy of the player’s handbook, a bag of Doritos
To determine what you know about the campaign, roll below.
| d8 | Metagamer |
|---|---|
| 1 | Battle Maps |
| 2 | NPC names |
| 3 | Town layouts |
| 4 | Homebrew creatures |
| 5 | NPC alignments |
| 6 | Loot locations |
| 7 | Trap locations |
| 8 | Nothing |
When you can’t recall something you can roll a history check to see if you can remember a creature or detail without checking the monster manual or player’s handbook. You also already know everything about the other character’s in the party, apart from their backstories and tend to call on what you know of the party to anticipate their moves.
Suggested Characteristics
You are very invested in the story and have no regard for anyone’s lives because to you, this is all a story that you need to finish and hopefully escape.

You have no idea what you are doing and have disadvantage on history, insight, and deception checks, but have proficiency with improvised weapons.
You can ask the DM a question and they can either answer totally truthfully or give a cryptic answer and confuse you even more.
