Upon your birth a Shaman mixed some of your birth blood with various humanoid appearing bone fragments, this mixture was then cast into a large carved wooden bowl to be scrutinized over. After a time the Shaman proclaimed you marked by the Fey, and as such you were slated to be cast from the tribe at your blooding never to return, an outcast set to wander the world.

The mark of the Fey was rare amongst the Goblinoids, popping up every other generation or so, but was always a sign of impending chaos that no tribe wanted in within their ranks. However those marked were also afford some modicum of protection, at least until their coming of age blooding, because no tribe wished to draw the ire of the Fey.

After the blooding ceremony those Fey Touched are sent on their way with whatever belongings they own, those lucky enough to have been born into a higher social caste may be given gifts by their family members to take as tokens to remember them by.

Even though you may not be of actual Fey blood or racial stock all Fey you encounter will recognize you as Feytouched and treat you as one of their own. You know the customs and culture of Fey society and find acceptance in their communities.

Feytouched that leave the Feywild will automatically succeed on any saving throws needed to retain their memories of their stay in the Feywild but such memories can be jumbled or a little hazy and contribute to their overall eccentric behaviors.
