You live in the wild places of the world with a tribe who you serve as shaman. You serve your tribe in spiritual and religious ways, as well as a healer. As shaman, you link your people to their gods and interpret signs of nature around you. You might look for subtleties in the leaves, or watch images form in the smoke.

You have great understanding of how geography is shaped, and can always follow patterns through the wilderness. This is especially true in your tribe's sacred lands. In addition, you can always find food and fresh water for yourself and up to five other people each day, provided that the land offers berries, small game, water, and so forth. You must make a prayer to the applicable spirits and gods to ask permission before claiming the land's bounty.
Note: This feature is a variant of the Wanderer feature.
Suggested Characteristics
Use the tables for the Acolyte background in the Player's Handbook as the basis for your traits and motivations, modifying the entries where appropriate to suit your identity as a tribe shaman. Your bond is likely to your tribe, either as a whole or a specific member. Your flaw may be to do with your lack of interaction with civilization, or perhaps you have done something to earn your tribe's distrust.
