Guardian

You were a warden over sacred grounds, a stalwart defender against the odds, or a bodyguard who devoted your life to servitude for an individual. Perhaps you stood countless days watching others come and go, defended for years against floods of attacks, or stood closely by the one you were charged with protecting. Either way, one day you found yourself no longer needed as a guardian. Were you replaced by a more effective guardian? Or was your guardianship taken from you when you failed to protect what you had for so very long. You could have found yourself far from your guardian place by some bizarre outcome, or perhaps you failed to save the life of the one you swore to protect. 

What ever the reason, you look outward to the world for a purpose, to protect once again.

Equipment: A trinket, insignia, or relic from your time as a guardian, such as a banner, a notary of your servitude, or a broken shield. A set of clothes, traveler's, a bell, a lock, a gaming set of your choice and a belt pouch containing 10 gold.

Suggested Characteristics

Most guardians have a strong sense of duty, but perhaps you cast yours away when you were no longer a guardian. As a guardian you find that old habits are hard to break, some of those habits could be your stalwart personality, a stern face against a threat, or relentlessness against those who would oppose you.
