
You are in training to become a Spellbinder Inquisitor, Chances are you only need some real world experience to gather information. However, You may instead be out in the world to gather information as a final test to gain full entry into The Spellbinder Inquisitors. You may also be on the run for something you did while in the tutelage of The Inquisitors, This would be for you and The DM to work on. The Spellbinder Inquisitors are the Magical Spies of the Sorcerous Dynasty of Rhunaea They gather a number of information from all over, You may also be in search of a missing member of the Inquisitors. The Spellbinder Inquisitors don't mind dealing with criminals that aren't "citizens" of their country if it suits their needs but chances are they may tip off the proper authorities, mostly without the criminal being made aware of this fact.
- Skill Proficiencies: You gain proficiency in the Arcana and Stealth skills.
- Tool Proficiencies: You gain proficiency in Thieves' Tools, and one of the following tools, Alchemist's Supplies, Tinker's Tools, Forgery Kit, Poisoner's Kit, or Calligrapher's Supplies.
- Languages: You gain proficiency in three languages of your choice.
You have access to the Spellbinder Inquisitor shadow network, which allows you to communicate with other Inquisitors over long distances. If you write a letter in a special arcane ink, address it to any member of The Inquisitors, and cast it into a fire, the letter will burn to cinders and materialize whole again on the person of the Inquisitor you addressed it to.
The Ink used to send a letter across the shadow network is the same as that used by a wizard to scribe spells in a spellbook. Writing a letter in this ink costs 10 gp per page.
Suggested Characteristics
You were selected for your ruthlessness, for your loss of a loved one that changed who you are as a person, or any number of similar circumstances. This is something that you can work with you DM to figure out.
