Viking Of Flovaria Image

A substantial part of the viking's life is spent on a longboat, navigating the vast seas of Flovaria. Few can match your prowess on open waters and have an infamous reputation to match.

Skill Proficiencies: Intimidation
Tool Proficiencies: Navigator’s tools, vehicles (water)
Equipment: A map of relatively safe seafaring routes for an area deemed appropriate by the DM, a spyglass worth 100 gp, a set of clothing, cold weather.

Feature: Experienced Pillager

In the North, where the grass is always greener on the other side, you've gained knowledge on how to stay well-fed and survive challenging environments. You are usually able to get together enough food to make it through the day whilst in an area (previously) inhabited by other creatures of your size. Naturally, this feature does not apply in all (previously) inhabited areas, some examples of areas that do not count:
- Areas that have been abandoned years ago where little trace can be found of any hunting grounds, food logistics, warehouses, etc.
- Areas that have been completely ruined through a catastrophe of any kind. This could be a wildfire or a plague for instance.

Vikings are also renowned for their scorched earth tactics and frequently destroy the villages and towns they pillage. You've gained experience on how to take down common obstacles within and around constructions such as doors, fences and hatches. Out of combat you gain advantage to STR checks involving such actions. However, you lack the fine detail to see the outcome of applying brute force.

Suggested Characteristics

Vikings can be a rough lot, but the responsibilities of life on a ship make them generally reliable as well. Life aboard a ship shapes their outlook and forms their most important attachments.
