You were once a mighty ruler who commanded armies of the most ruthless soldiers. Feared throughout the lands as you were, it was only natural some hero would show up to ruin it all. People that knew of your existence may comment on your current state, and shun you for the vile things you may have potentially done. Alternatively, you could go the mutiny route, having been betrayed by your once loyal underlings, you could seek redemption by joining a crusade against the evil of the world, and potentially have revenge on the very mutineers you once called comrades.
While being a melee oriented class is implied, you do not need to play a barbarian or fighter. The same applies to races. Ask the question: What kind of ruler was I? Were you a shrewd diplomat that conquered with your cunning intellect and sharp-as-steel words? Or a raging maniac with an axe who cut down any standing in the way? Or maybe you ruled from the shadows through a puppet ruler?

- Equipment: A relic of your previous position (a broken crown, a worn weapon, a shattered goblet, etcetera), a box of kindling, a tent, damaged armor with pieces of your past riddled throughout it. No coins though, your broke.
As a feared ruler, you are known throughout the region you hail from, and even from beyond. As such, you are treated with varying levels of hostility based on what you did. Expect higher prices from shop and tavern keepers. The common folk will be more wary around you, and are less likely to approach you for help, or give help if approached.
It's not all bad, though, as you are respected by those in power, who fear your ability to conquer. You are more likely to persuade those in power if your strut your stuff; this also applies to lesser criminals, who, if the recognize you, may offer tithes so that they may gain your good graces. Bandits encountered in the world may also have once been part of your crew, and may or may not be willing to help you.
Suggested Characteristics
Disgraced Warlords can take many approaches to regaining their power, all one must choose is the path they follow. Typically these sorts are rough around the edges, and lonesome, and have a tendency to consort with criminals. Flaws could include them being a little too greedy, a little too violent, or a little too power hungry.
