You are a child; someone who has not yet fully matured. There are many things you have learned so far in life, but you do not yet have the diverse skillset that an adult would. As a child, you still do not have legal authority over yourself, and, for better or worse, have been left as a responsibility for your caretaker. Now you have been thrust into the open arms of adventure. You are probably unprepared for the horrors that await, but surely the lessons you have been taught throughout your few years will be enough to keep you safe.
- Skill Proficiencies: You gain proficiency in Performance (Performative crying) and Persuasion (I want!).
- Tool Proficiencies: You are proficient in one gaming set of your choice and a disguise kit.
- Languages: You know common and two optional languages of your choice for bilingual or trilingual children.
- Equipment: Toy Sword, a Stuffed Animal, a Backpack, and two Game Sets of your choice.
Being young has it's benefits. Most people find you down right adorable, while others may underestimate your abilities simply because of your age. If there is an orphanage in town, you can get free lodging, provided you are able to sneak out undetected. You are also able to manipulate others using your cuteness. If the target doesn't have a disliking towards you (DM discretion) then you have advantage on charisma checks against them. Additionally if you are attacked unprovoked while in view of others, onlookers will attempt to intervene in the safest way possible provided they don't have a disliking towards you (DM discretion). This may be by calling for guards, helping you flee, or even trying to fight off your attacker (DM discretion).
