However, many people who see you will take pity on you and take care of you. Your time as a slave has taught you many things, such as 2 languages, use of a tool, and some other skills. Your slave mark does distinguish you as property to the race you were enslaved to, but the farther you go from there, the less likely people are to recognize it.

If people recognize your slave mark, common people who see you aren't ever going to be aggressive towards you unless you prove to be dangerous. Proving to be dangerous will be much easier though. However, any and all guards, noble officials, or slavers will likely to be aggressive to you immediately. Hiding your slave mark is quite difficult, as slave marks are always placed on the left side of your neck. If you are wearing heavy armor, you can hide it. If you wear a hood, that is another way you can hide it. Any former slaves you meet on your journey who see your slave mark will help you, and are very patient with your violent attempts. Moreover, you speak Thieves' Cant. Other escaped slaves won't be aggressive to you unless you attack them numerous times.
