You grew up in a caravan, living as a nomad all of your life. Being rejected from most cities, you and your extended family have a deep history, culture, and language. You’ve witnessed the migration of herds larger than forests, survived weather more extreme than any city-dweller could comprehend, and enjoyed the solitude nature itself.
- Skill Proficiencies: History, Survival
- Tool Proficiencies: One type of instrument or artisan's tools, Vehicles (Land), and a Deck of Playing Card
- Languages: You can read, write, and understand Common, one other language of your choosing, and Rromi. Rromi is a vowel heavy and fast language, only commonly spoke amongst caravanners and a few merchants. The script is a creole of Dwarfish and Elvish, but many don't write in Rromi.
- Equipment: A set of set of Traveler's clothes, a deck of Tarot Cards, a Musical Instrument or Artisan Tool's of your choice, and a pouch containing 10 gp.
Feature: Way of the Road
You easily remember trade routes and roads, and you know which towns are friendly to your people or not. You can tell what are bandit traps, and you can visualize the lay of the land with a brief description. The time usually taken to get from one town to the next is halved.
Suggested Characteristics
Often seen as untrustworthy and thieves, Roma are held in almost the same regard as Tieflings or Kenku. This led to a cynical view of city-folk, and a close bond to their clan or family.
