The Dragon Guard are the elite of all Dwarven Warriors. Hand picked by the Order's Commander from the ranks of Hold Guards the length of the Dwarven Kingdom, each Dragon Guard is a force in their own right. Armed with mighty war-hammers, forged in the fires of the Hammerstone forges, and clad in Dragon themed plate armour, the Dragon Guard cut an imposing figure. Be it on the field of battle, or in their traditional role of guarding the High King, few dare to stand in their way, and those who do are often not standing there long.

Dwarves everywhere respect the Dragon Guard. They receive shelter and succor from other members of the Guard and those who are sympathetic to its aims.
This help comes in the form of shelter and meals, and healing when appropriate, as well as occasionally risky assistance, such as a band of local citizens rallying to aid a sorely pressed Guard in a fight, or those who support the Guard helping to smuggle you out of town when you are being hunted unjustly.
