You have always had an affinity and curiosity for animals. Over the years you have learned about many species, cataloging their behaviors, predators and prey, what they eat, sleeping and migration habits, and habitats in your own journal. They are drawn to you as much as you are to them and you can often be found speaking or playing with animals. Animals know they can come to you for help and others come to you for help with animals. 

You have spent so much time with animals that you understand them as well as your own people. Sometimes people think you're odd for speaking to animals. Others may employ you to assist them in dealing with an animal.

You have advantage on Animal Handling checks outside of combat and are capable of communicating with any beast with an Intelligence of 1 or higher. Successfully helping a person with an animals may gain you bed & board, coin, or more in exchange for your assistance.

Skill Proficiencies: Years of studying and interacting with animals has see you pick up a few skills.

You are proficient in Animal Handling and two of:  nature, survival, insight, investigation, perception, or medicine.

Languages: You are proficient in one additional language of your choice.

Equipment: You are always ready to interact with animals.

A set of common clothes, a journal with drawings and descriptions of animals, a pouch of nuts, seeds, and berries, a pouch of dried meat, and a pair of leather gloves.
