You grew up fascinated by the wilds and foreign civilizations, maybe you were born in a big city or you come from a small rustic  island but whatever your birthplace your desire to see the world set you out. You have traveled far from your local birthplace and the comforts of family, tribe, hometown and technology. You’ve witnessed the migration of herds larger than forests, survived weather more extreme than any city-dweller could comprehend, and enjoyed the solitude of being the only thinking creature for miles in any direction. You have lived with more different groups of people than the usual local. The love for the new and foreign or for the wilds are in your blood, whether you were a traveler, a nomad, an explorer, a recluse, a hunter-gatherer, or even a marauder. Even in places where you don’t know the specific features of the terrain or the layout of a settlement, you know the ways of the wild or how to move around the settlement.

Suggested Characteristics

Often considered rude and uncouth among local folk, explorers have visited many places some are in the wild and others are foreign cities that locals have never heard of. To most explorers the ties of tribe, clan, family, are second to the tie to the natural world of which they are a part or to the appeal of foreign civilizations.
