You are a child, no more than 10 years old. You were taken from your home by some monstrous humanoids, who preformed a magic ritual on you, transforming you from a normal humanoid race to an animal/human hybrid race. The curse left you mute and unrecognizable to your family. Your father and mother were sure that this was a trick of some adventurers to scam them out of gold, and would not accept you back into their lives. The adventurers took you in, hopeful they could help find a cure for you.

You are beloved by the adventurer's that have taken you in, and you want to return their kindness. You can appeal to the mothers you come across in your travels to help assist and aid your companions in gathering information, finding places that will take you in, and at the very least a home cooked meal for you and the adventuring party you represent. The children in a town also find you fascinating, and will be more inclined to help you out so long as you spend some time playing with them.

While you initially are sad that your family disowned you, and afraid of the wide world, the adventurers that have taken you in are the best family you could have asked for. You are fiercely loyal to them, and they to you. While you want to find a way to lift the curse, and be able to return to your normal life, you live for the adventure and camaraderie that your new life has brought to you.
