As a child you were an active member of your faith's church but now it's time to further your studies at Paladin School! Your parents have taken you from your home town and dropped you off in the big city of Waterdeep at the Paladin Academy! Here you will study the important lessons of the gods of this world! There is no judgement here, for the headmaster will accept anyone from any faith and background, provided that you provide the dragons, of course.
There are plenty of hands-on lessons here for anyone! Learn magics under the teachings of Mystra! Learn to carve beautiful holy symbols with Gond! Raise mummified corpses with Kelemvor! There's something here for everyone. Each up and coming Paladin will get lodging somewhere within the academy's grounds with vast options from a single bed room to a large common room with up to five roommates! Each day will include a large group study where you will learn from a local priest, small group study where you meet with those like-minded individuals within your same pantheon, sparring with other students and the introduction to basic medicine and healing! There are plenty of clubs and activities you can take part in at the Paladin Academy, including band, arts and crafts, woodworking, stained glass, painting, raising the dead to form an army of corpses, cooking, grounds-keeping and many, many others! We can't wait to see you around!

Suggested Characteristics
D8 Personality:
- I try my hardest in my studies and in life. My intellect is most important to me.
- I've read every holy text and studied every God and Goddess. Diversity is a key aspect of faith.
- I seek out those who struggle in their faith. It is my job to educate the masses.
- Bring on the challenges! I'm ready for the field!
- I love, I fight, I pray. I have no time for other pleasures.
- I attended the Academy for the connections, not the studies itself.
- I'd rather be studying Magic. This was my parent's idea.
- I got sent to Paladin school after I denounced my faith.
D6 Ideal:
- Knowledge - learning doesn't end when schooling does. I'm ready for life's next lesson. (Any)
- Strength - I want to grow stronger. Not in knowledge but in brawn. I'm tired of being a nerdy private-school kid. (Neutral(?))
- Solidarity - I've spent too long in the presence of others. I'd rather spend time reflecting by myself. (Any)
- Charity - It is my job to give back to those who have given me the most in life. My community, my school, and those less fortunate than I. (Good)
- Redemption - Everyone is inherently good and everyone has room to change. I don't judge people's previous actions. (Lawful)
- Honor - It is my job to bring honor to my school and my family.
Use the tables for the Sage background in the Player's Handbook as the basis for your traits and motivations, modifying the entries when appropriate to suit your identity. Your bond is almost certainly associated either with the place where you grew up or with your schooling and those you grew close to. Your ideal is no doubt related to how you view others (in relation to faith and law) and how you view your future plans.
You graduated at the top of your class! Everyone else who attended the Academy at the same time as you will either love you or hate you! Professors will enjoy your determined spirit!
