Raised in a circus, Twitch was first an attraction, as a bugbear infant. After seeing his above average intelligence for the goblinoids, as well as his slimmer stature, they trained him for other tasks throughout the circus. Eventually, they taught him to use a whip, in a lion taming show. It went so well, and he took to the whip's use so naturally, they trained him in using it in more elaborate ways. He could grab a dagger from a table and bring it to his somewhat large palm. Swinging from rafters, and climbing walls like a pirate through rigging. They taught him the care and creation of whips after that, him showing for the first time a true interest in something other than food and sleep. He eventually made enough money through selling his whips, and other leather products, that the circus he was taken to as a child, his home for all his life, gave him the option of heading out to make a name for himself. They told him to never forget where he came from. And to enjoy his life to the fullest.

Trained in using a whip to its fullest, while also engaging in lion taming in the circus, you may be confident in yourself in the face of danger. You may use your whip to do mundane things as a matter of course, or as a way to show off, either subtly or not. You could climb up some trees to get a better view, swing across a gap, or grab something far away from you in fear of traps.
