You have skills in tools you've never picked up, and sometimes you feel as though you know things that you have no reason to know. This can result in an unexpected depth of knowledge on topics you've only studied a bit, or the uncanny ability to be a master in something you've only done once or twice. Once per day, when you are using a skill you aren't proficient in, you can add your proficiency bonus to a skill check or tool check.
