You grew up around doctors and always accompany them while learning from them. You are bright and smart but stern yet calm. Every time you hold a scalpel, you feel determined and focused. So, the doctors let you learn what you hold, a scalpel. You learned to cut fast and precisely and make no mistake even if it was your first try. You mastered the anatomy of common creatures anatomy. You spent years learning the art of a surgeon until they have nothing more to teach you. But you know there is no limit to knowledge. You asked your teachers were about where to learn more about surgery. Furthermore,  you are not just curious where to learn surgery but what else the equipment is used in surgery. So you set your mind to brace the harsh world on your own to become the best surgeon in the realm.

Common class to go with this background is Artificer, Bard, Cleric, and Rogue. This background is mostly a healer but not quite a healer itself. You learn about medicine and herbs. You also learn how to use a scalpel so precisely and always know where to look. You are quite charismatic as you know how to calm people who are injured and know how to persuade people to do what you want.

 
Skill Proficiencies: Medicine - You mastered anatomy almost common creatures. So you know what to do emergency situation.

Nature - You can collect herbs in the wild and blend them and make it a normal healing potion.

Sleight of Hand - You handle your scalpel way better and precisely. Your hand becomes faster.

Tool Proficiencies: Weaver's tool -  You can make bandages and special thread using fabric. 

Herbalism Kit - You know your way around herbs to make a simple potion

Languages: You learn anatomy in any common language you are in.
Equipment: Scalpel, Scissors, Bandages, and Special Thread - You can use this item to do surgery and prevent death but you must use one action to perform this. 

Doctor Adventure Clothing (Red Cross Armband) - Wearing the medic armband, you are bound to the Hippocrates Oath. Common folk or creatures who can read know that you are an expert in the medical field.

If you are wearing the medic armband, you are bound to the Hippocrates Oath. Common folk or creatures who can read know that you are an expert in the medical field. Every clinic or hospital in the city will automatically welcome you as their own. People might occasionally ask for your help and you can't refuse even they are shady. You always get some supplies from the clinic or hospital. The folk will help you if you are in trouble (bad people looking for you) and only help you in a fight if you help them first. Members of the city guard, army, or even lower rank nobles respect you greatly, and they'll let you get away with minor criminal offenses. Only works if you wear the armband or you will be recognized as a commoner.

You only know how to cure conditions instead of healing because you are more into standard operation procedure than magic. The doctor also teaches you how to use spell messages as they are quite busy. 

 
Suggested Characteristics

Surgeons are similar to doctors' personalities meaning that they are more empathetic. They'll help everyone because they are bound with the Hippocrates Oath. They will help everyone who is injured whether a civilian or a lowlife criminal. They will not use brute force unless they have to.
