On the horizon, a small figure can be made out of the tall dense tress. The wind rushes through, and the figure is gone.
A man's cart is broken down in the woods. His axle is broken on one of the wheels and no civilization is around for miles. The tree branches begin to shake and the wind howls with a dull roar. As the noise clears, the man lifts his head to find the ruckus. His cart wheel has been mended together by some means, magic or nature.
A Slip Wanderer is a being with no home. These people avoid contact with the civilized world, whether it be a personal choice or one not made by that person. Some may take temporary dwelling in caves, abandoned shelters, or even burrows and trees. Most, as it happens, wander the lands in search for some type of fulfillment to their lives or some great calling that they are to answer to. Slip Wanderers do not leave the civilized world behind entirely, though. Often times those who wander will keep an object that they like or feel the need to keep. These objects are what remind them who they used to be or of people they knew long ago.
- Skill Proficiencies: With little education or very little social skills, Slip Wanderers focus on matters such as:
Nature
Religion
Animal Handling
Survival
Stealth
You are proficient in 2 of these skills.

Herbalism Kit
Lyre
Pan Flute
Drums
- Languages: These peoples do not gain the ability of extra languages. Their seclusion leaves them distant from learning new tongues.
Your secluded background makes you adapted to moving quickly through rough terrains, such as the forest or the mountains. Whenever you are in either of these places, gain +5 speed.
Suggested Characteristics
This background is built for anyone trying to play Druid or any race whose other traits and abilities do not give them any of the previously listed skills.
