The politics of the Fey are as arcane and quick to sudden upheaval as... well, everything else in the Feywild, really. Most outsiders who find themselves in the Feywild take great pains to avoid getting within a day's march of the local movers and shakers. Failing that, they tend to put their heads between their knees and wait for the moving and shaking to stop for a moment, before leaving. Even most Fey generally tend to give the realm's political sphere a wide berth. But not you.
You were born into great power in the Feywild. At least, insofar as any being can be said to have power over such a place. That plane's nature flows in your blood, and its people bow in your presence. Depending on your rank in the mysterious hierarchy of Fey ladies, lords, and so on, and on your previous exploits, you may be a figure of respect and some fear among the more common Fey, and a character of myth and legend to natives of the Prime Material.
Whether a member of the Seelie or Unseelie court, you will seem about the same to natives of other planes. Of course, that distinction likely matters very much to you, but you won't have much luck getting the average humanoid to understand why.
- Skill Proficiencies: History, Deception
- Tool Proficiencies: One type of musical instrument
- Languages: One of your choice
- Equipment: A musical instrument (one of your choice), a set of fine clothes, a signet ring, three trinkets (each determined by rolling on the Feywild Trinkets table), and a purse containing 25 gp
Whenever you're sound asleep or in a deep trance during a long rest, a spirit of the Feywild might pay you a visit, if the DM wishes it. Determine the spirit's form by rolling on the Feywild Visitor table. No harm ever comes to you as a result of such visits, which can last for minutes or hours, and you remember each visit when you wake up. Conversations that occur with a visitor can contain any number of things, from messages and insights to nonsense and red herrings, at the DM's discretion. Such conversations are always conducted in a language you can understand, even if the Feywild visitor can't speaking that language normally.

Thanks to your noble birth, people are inclined to think the best of you. You are welcome in high society, and people assume you have the right to be wherever you are. The common folk make every effort to accommodate you and avoid your displeasure, and other people of high birth treat you as a member of the same social sphere. You can secure an audience with a local noble if you need to.
