Prerequesite: Any Fae (Fey) Race: True Elf, Fae Dwarf, Firbolg Variant, Satyr, Satyr Variant, Centaur, Wild Fae, or Fae Goblin from The Faerie Host, or any race with the creature type Fey.

You are a Changeling in the original sense: As a small child, you were left with a mortal family in “trade” for their own child, who was taken away to be raised by the Fae as a "Foundling".

As part of the magic of this exchange, you appeared to be the same species as the mortal child until some point between infancy and adulthood, at which point you gained your true appearance.

You always felt different, and knew you were more than mortal, but were not part of the plot to kidnap and replace a child. You were raised to adulthood by your mortal family, who may still have a real attachment (possibly conflicted) to you.

The Egg in the Wrong Nest

Your relationships with your mortal parents likely shaped much about your life. You should define those relationships.

d6 The Egg in the Wrong Nest
1 Your parents were traumatized by losing their original child, and never fully bonded with you
2 Your parents blame you for their original child being stolen, but try to act normally
3 You have a largely normal relationship with your parents, save that it was always complicated by assuming it should be worse
4 Your parents don't blame you, and you grew up missing the sibling you never met
5 Your parents don't entirely understand that their original child is gone, believing you are that child just changed
6 Your intended mortal parents abandoned you, and another mortal family raised you happily

Feature: Child of Two Worlds

Given ten minutes, you can make yourself appear to be fully Fae or not Fae at all. This subtle change combines skill in disguise with instinctive use of minor Faerie Glamours. This feature does not allow you to change your appearance to be identical or similar to any individual, and your changed appearance must remain largely similar to your own.
